Электронное научное издание Альманах Пространство и Время открывается специальным выпуском «Система планета Земля», составленным из материалов одноименного семинара, который проводится на Геологическом факультете МГУ уже 20 лет. Авторы вступительного слова — руководитель семинара и заместитель главного редактора журнала «Пространство и Время» и его главный редактор — рассказывают об истории семинара и об основных задачах и принципах, лежащих в его основе, подчеркивая общность этих принципов и издательского кредо редакционной коллегии журнала.

Обозначены цели семинара и его электронной версии:

(1) синтетическая, направленная на преодоление негативных последствий гиперспециализации науки,

(2) предоставление возможности для высказывания и публикации неординарных, необщепринятых взглядов и оценок, собирать представителей различных наук в одной аудитории для обсуждения наиболее острых и дискуссионных вопросов естествознания и тех гуманитарных дисциплин, в исследовательское поле которых включены отдельные аспекты естественнонаучного знания,

(3) формирование новой исследовательской культуры и культуры научного общения, что по-новому ставит вопрос о науке и нравственности.

Electronic Scientific Edition ‘Almanac Space and Time’ starts its activities with special edition ‘The Earth Planet System’, composed of the materials of the eponymous seminar that is held at the MSU Faculty of Geology for 20 years. For this time in framework of the seminar formed a few promising concepts that in the near future will no doubt become new paradigms not only in geology, but also in the whole spectrum of the Earth Sciences, such as:

— the concept of symmetry and regularity of the Earth structure;

— the concept of impact of Earth internal spheres on the hydrosphere and atmosphere;

— the concept of influence and interaction of processes in internal spheres of the planet and external cosmic ones;

— the concept of the effects of internal spheres of the planet on the biosphere, anthroposphere, and sociosphere.

The authors of this topic, the seminar leader and deputy chief editor of "Space and Time" Journal, together with the Editor in Chief of this one, tell about the history of the seminar and about the main objectives and principles upon which it is based, emphasizing the commonality of these principles and of the publishing credo of the Editorial Board.

These principles are:

(1) Obligatory benevolence of the audience to spokesperson, loyalty and friendliness toward him irrespective of any degree of disagreement with his conclusions and reasoning. Critical remarks are categorically prohibited; short probing questions are only permitted;

(2) The opportunity to express the most daring, original, unconventional and contrasting ideas, hypotheses, views; a seminar fights with no one to — its participants are searching for the truth together;

(3) To go beyond the current paradigms of science is possible and desirable. Attempts to hack scientific mainstream are welcome — provided that such attempts are based on reliable evidence and not contrary to the methods of scientific inquiry. Occult and mystical approaches are strictly prohibited.

Objectives of seminar and its electronic version are:

(1) scientific synthesis aimed at overcoming the negative effects of hyper-differentiation of science;

(2) providing the opportunity to express and publish extraordinary, unconventional views and to gather representatives of various sciences in one audience to discuss the most urgent and debatable questions of natural sciences and of humanitarian disciplines, in the research field of which included some aspects of natural scientific knowledge;

(3) the formation of a new culture of scientific researches and of scientific communication, which puts in new ways the problem of science and morality.
